Compliance & Coverage

Built for EPR. Aligned across jurisdictions.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is active or in development in 80+ countries. Plastiks is already structured for the frameworks that matter.

EU spotlight

The EU packaging rulebook is now binding law.

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU 2025/40) replaces the old directive with directly binding rules. In force since 11 February 2025, it applies across all 27 EU member states from 12 August 2026. Recyclability and recycled content stop being claims and become obligations that have to be proven.

  1. 11 Feb 2025 Entered into force
  2. 12 Aug 2026 Applies EU-wide
  3. By 2030 All packaging recyclable
  4. By 2050 Climate neutral sector

Recyclable by 2030

All packaging on the EU market must be recyclable in an economically viable way.

Verified recovery data behind every recyclability claim.

Real recycled content

The regulation pushes brands to cut virgin plastic and prove recycled content.

On-chain, audit-ready recycled-content evidence.

Binding on all packaging

It covers all packaging and packaging waste, regardless of material or origin.

One proof layer across every material and market.

Detailed regime coverage

Mapped to the frameworks that carry liability.

Each regime demands one thing: verifiable, auditable evidence that producers are doing what they claim. Plastiks certificates provide exactly that, pre-mapped to the reporting fields PROs and regulators ask for.

Why it matters

The liability is theirs. The proof is ours.

  • FMCGs, PROs and governments carry the liability; Plastiks gives them defensible evidence.
  • One PRO contract aggregates many recovery streams into a single audit trail.
  • Standardised, audit-ready data replaces self-declared claims: faster, cheaper, defensible reporting.
