How a credit earns its verified state.

Every Circular Credit is issued against Triple Documentation, checked by our AI review, signed off by a person and minted on Cardano. If a check fails, the credit is held until it is fixed.

Three independent documents

  • Proof of Origin

    The invoice: who sold the material, what it was, how much and for how much.

  • Proof of Transaction

    The payment: evidence that the seller on the invoice was actually paid.

  • Proof of Transfer

    The delivery document: evidence that the material moved from the seller to the recycler.

What the AI review checks

The AI reads every field on all three documents and cross-checks them, and checks each credit against every other credit in the system.

  • Amounts agree The invoice total matches the payment.
  • Weights agree The invoice and the delivery document carry the same weight.
  • Same parties Seller and buyer are the same on every document.
  • Right payee The payment went to the invoice seller, not to a third party, and covers the full invoice.
  • Dates line up Payment and delivery fall in a plausible window around the invoice date.
  • Recent documents No document is too old to support a new credit.
  • Units read correctly A weight in tonnes is never taken as kilograms.
  • Documents belong together A document that carries another credit’s weight or value is caught.
  • No double counting One invoice can back only one claim, across every credit in the system.

A real catch

Two credits cited the same invoice. The AI flagged it and the second credit was held. Anonymised.

A person signs off

When every check passes, a member of our verification team reviews the credit and signs it off. Only then is it minted.

When a check fails

The credit is held for revision. The recovery entity gets a list of what to fix and sends corrected documents through a private link. Nothing is minted until every check passes and a reviewer approves it.
